【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheresistanceoffiberglasspipetoexternalpressure.Itclassifiesfailuresasbuckling,compressive,andleaking.Bothglass-fiber-reinforcedthermosetting-resinpipe(RTRP)andglass-fiber-reinforcedplasticmortarpipe(RPMP)arefiberglasspipes.Note1-Forthepurposesofthisstandard,polymerdoesnotincludenaturalpolymers.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofhesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
