【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodforthedetectionofirradiatedfoodsusingphotostimulatedluminescence(PSL).ThetechniquedescribedherecomprisesaninitialmeasurementofPSLintensitywhichmaybeusedforscreeningpurposes,andacalibrationmethodtodeterminethePSLsensitivitytoassistclassification.Itisnec-essarytoconfirmapositivescreeningresultusingcalibratedPSLoranotherstandardised(e.g.EN1784toEN1788)orvalidatedmethod.Themethodhasbeensuccessfullytestedininterlaboratorytrialsusingshellfishandherbs,spicesandseasonings.Fromotherstudiesitmaybeconcludedthatthemethodisapplicabletoalargevarietyoffoods.
